Puerto Rico, The 51st State? New Progressive Party Organizing Marches To Protest Political Status

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Puerto Rico's pro-statehood party is organizing marches to demand that the U.S. government honor the results of a referendum regarding the Caribbean island's political status.

A statement Saturday from the New Progressive Party says marches will be held March 2 in Puerto Rico, Washington and other cities.
